Adding another "closed" sales stage

Hi,

We'd like to add a further closed sales stage - "Qualified Out".

However, unlike the "Closed - Won" and "Closed - Lost", our new stage never
disappears until it's either lost or won...

Is there a way that we can add a further closed stage that would
automatically disappear?
