adding another user on same computer

Hi, I have made amew user on my computer so that the woman I live with
may use my computer without the danger of corrupting my files
accidentially.
When we go to the dock on her side - and that is the side from which I
am emailing you - there are two question marks where the icons for 'word
and excel would have been. How can I get this corrected?

Just drag the question mark to the desktop and you will find them vanish.

Next drag the Word and Excel programs to the dock and you will find it
working properly.

Worry not, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. It just means that the
original application icon for Word and Excel may have been moved or
deleted accidentally. To remedy, simply point and click the icon, drag
outside of the dock and watch it disappear. Now go into your Macintosh HD,
open Applications and look for the Microsoft Office X folder, open it and
look for the Word and Excel icon. COMMAND + CLICK on both the Word and
Excel icons and drag them on your dock. They should reappear without the
question mark.
