Adding applications to Picture Editor

How do I add more applications to the Picture Editor
selection under Options, Edit?

Currently we have only Microsoft Picture Editor and
Microsoft Word listed as options. We also use Adobe
Illustrator and sometimes Microsoft Paint. I would like
to add these.

Unfortunately, there is no way to add anything to that list. This is not
discrimination against non-MS products, since even Microsoft's PictureIt!
and other graphics apps aren't included.
