I am trying to enter appointments on behalf of my unorganised collegue(!),
i.e when he makes an appointment i record it, im linking it to the contact
and then have to invite him to the appointment so it comes up in his
calender- only problem is it stays in my calender but i will not be attending
the appointment - not quite category challenged just appointmently
challaenged. any help appreciated.

Appointments are owned by Outlook, and BCM only links to them, so
unless there's server sharing the appointments (e.g. Exchange),
there's no mechanism to automatically add the appointment you create
to your colleague's Outlook.

You could try exporting the appointment as an ics file, mailing it to
your colleague and having them double click on the ics attachment when
they receive the email.
