Adding Background to a Business Card

I have MS Pub 2003. I found a plain business card designed on my
computer and I want to add a faint southwestern background to it. Is
this possible and how do I do it? I have white cardstock to print on
(deskjet stuff) and I want a texture/picture background, not just
color.

You will need to find an image that is royalty-free to start with. Once you
located that, Insert - Picture - From File, edit it to suit, move it behind
your text.

Or find an image you like, insert into, View, Master page, use the Wash-out on
the Picture toolbar. You can adjust with the brightness and contrast buttons. Go
back to the publication page and create.
