Adding calendar and other core folders to "Favorite folders"

I would like to be able to add the calendar to my "Favorite folders. When i
have the navigation bar closed, i want to have the calendar above the inbox
button.

Favorites only supports mail and post folders.

I understand that. I am suggesting that it is made to be able to put anything
in there. including the core categories.
