Adding coloured time to calender

Is there a way to graphically indicate time within a project that has no effect on the programme itself but shows as a specific time period no matter how one zooms in on the timescale

for example
We do a great deal of work at schools and colleges and I wish to indiate the termtimes and school holidays but these are not non-working times as far as the project goes. In effect all I wish to do is add colour to cloumns of time.(If I use Suretrak software this is called a curtain

Any thoughts

Hello RP,
You could create a pseudo calendar with these periods of time, then attach
this calendar to the Timescale:
Format / Timescale... / Nonworking time : calendar
NB : you can change the color of the "curtain"
Hope this helps,
