Adding Columns to Global Template

Hello

Platform: Project Server & Pro 2007 (SP1 & latest fixes).

Issue: We have a project file that was created using the Enterprise Global
template. The PM has added an additional column that should be seen by other
users who open this file. However this is only available to the PM not the
other users. It is too late to update the Global template for this instance,
and the PM would like to ensure that this column is available anytime other
PM’s open this file. Is this achievable?

Hi Shahid,

Better way do accomplish this, by adding the column to enterprise
global view.

The other alternative is, PM can create the custom view on his/her
project plan by including this column. You can distribute this view
to another projects by Tools-> Organizer option and copy this view to
another projects.
