I have Office 2003 Pro and would like to add the contacts of another mailbox
I have access to in my Address book. My current contacts folder is listed
under the address book.

second mailbox Mail Box 2
second mailbox contacts Mail Box 2 Contact

in Address book under Show names from the:
Outlook Address Book

I would like to see
My Contacts
Mail Box 2 Contacts

I currently see
My Contacts (only)

Can you right-click the added Contacts folder, choose Properties, select the
Outlok Address Book tab and click "Show this folder as an e-mail Address
Book"? I don't work with shared folders, but this is how it works for your
own contacts folders.

I am needing to do the same thing. Basically add a second mailbox's Contacts
list to my Outlook Address Book drop down box.

The Address Book Tab is not available for a contact list you do not own.

Just talked with Microsoft Premier, they said this is not a feature of
Outlook 2003. Shared contacts cannot be added to the Outlook Address Book
drop down box (hence the reason the Outlook Address Book tab is not present
under Properties).

They had two suggestions (work arounds):

1) Import the contacts into a Public Folder and maintain them there. Then
multiple users could add them to their drop down box.

2) Import the contacts into the mailbox that needs the shared contacts.
They could then add the newly created contact list to their drop down box.
The contacts would have to be periodically synched manually.

Hope this helps anyone else out there attempting the same thing.
