Adding contacts to a distribution group

I want to add an entire category of contacts to a distribution group without
clicking on each individual contact. Or... select many contacts and save to
a distribution group. Help!

Why not use categories to create a dynamic distribution lists?

If you make a view with just the email addresses in it, you can copy the
rows and paste into the address field of the DL - see
