Adding contacts to distribution list via catagory

I would like to add email addresses to a distribution list, but all the
emails in one catagory. Every time I try to add with the "select member"
button, I get my contacts with name and email addy only, but not sorted by
catagory. Because of this, I can't remember the 100 or so emails that I need
to add to the list. This is very cumbersome. Is there any easier way to do
this? If I can see by catagory, what's the use of having catagories?

If you are using Categories, why do you need a Distribution list? Categories
are SO much better and robust than D/Ls...
