Hello Paul,
Thank you for your response.
I have asked my colleque for some more information.
Situation: 7 Custom Property Sets have sucessfully been defined and I want
to add another one (more that one in fact).
Step-by-step procedure:
1. I select a shape which has custom properties based on an already defined
custom property set, because I want to create a new custom property set,
based on an existing one.
2. I select Tools, Add-Ons, Visio Extras, Edit Custom Property Sets, and in
the window, I select Add.
3. I select "Create a new set from the shape selected in Visio" and click on
OK.
4. Normally, I would then click on Define to alter the custom properties of
this newly created Custom Property Set, but the problem arises further on and
also happens when I don't alter the custom properties of the newly created
Custom Property Set, so I click on OK to leave the window "Edit Custom
Property Sets".
5. Then I select the shape which I want to give the custom properties from
the newly created Custom Property Set and I select Tools, Add-Ons, Visio
Extras, Apply Custom Property Sets. And now, in the selection box for the
Custom Property set, only 1 of the original 7 Custom Property Sets is
available and the other defined Custom Property Sets have disappeared. The
one that is available is the first one that was originally created. Also,
when I go back to the window to Edit Custom Property Sets, only this one is
available and the other 6 are gone.
When I execute a similar procedure, but don't first select a shape on which
the new Custom Property Set should be based (i.e. create a blank Custom
Property Set and then manually fill it with custom properties), everything
works fine, I can add as many as I like and apply them to shapes as I like.
Any help is much appreciated as I don't want to manually add custom
properties again ;-)
