Adding data in tables

Is there an easy way to add consecutive numbers/codes to a
table ie rather than just typing them in??

Eg, Like in Word you just drag down to get a sequence of
numbers

First, a common suggestion in this 'group (tablesdbdesign) is DON'T use
tables for data-entry. Tables store data, forms display it -- using forms
gives you much more control over the data-entry process.

Second, try looking on Google.com or mvps.org/access for "Custom autonumber"
routines.
