Remote computer will not connect. Trying to connect my desktop with my
laptop. Have followed BCM instructions completely. Have changed user
names, computer names, passwords - all with no success. Have reinstalled
BCM. Am continually told that I have not been granted access or that the
password is incorrect.
Am suspicious the problem relates to both computers being set up under the
same user name. Have tried changing the logon name for the remote computer
but the error messages always refer to the original user logon name which
remains on the remote computer as the "registered computer user" name which
apparently cannot be changed. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
