Adding Earned Value Analysis to Portfolio Analyzer

Siraj

I am having the following problem with OLAP Cube Building Process.

1. I happen to extend the cube using the Microsoft Provided solution
starters and
the procedure. I happen to extend the cube for Task Earned Value
Analysis.

2. I added the Task Earned Value Analysis cube to the Portfolio analyzer
cube
using Analysis Manager.

3. I was able to generate the cube successfully using the Analysis Manager.

4. When I tried to generate the Portfolio analyzer cube using PWA
(Project Web
Access), the cube build failed. Following arethe error messages in
the error
log.

Please let me know if I am doing anything wrong. I am not sure if Earned
Value Analysis cube can be added to Portfolio analyzer. Any help is greatly
appriciated and thank you in advance.

You have to assume that the solutions starters posted on MS.COM are riddled
with bugs. Have debugged the application? I don't think you'll find much
support for this. You might want to look at a commercial product that does
the same thing: http://www.bogdanovassociates.com
