Adding Excel files?

Hi
I have a web site made with Pub'2000.
But I would like to have a page where I can upload
things like Excel files or maybe files in zip format
that other people can then down load off my page.
Sorry that I don't even know what it is called
this thing I want to do.
So can anyone tell me what this process is called and
where can I find a tutorial.

If you want a web page that is used to upload files for you and/or visitors,
Publisher has no support for that as it involves web programming.
You can only upload yourself via ftp or http using your username and
password to the server.

As far as downloading, just put the file out there. That's all a web page
is. Just a file sitting on a web server that the visitor downloads. Upload
the file and hyperlink to it. Note that rather or not a visitor is prompted
to download the file manually or rather the file simply downloads into an
application (like a web page loads in the browser) is totally dependent on
the applications installed on their local pc and the browser used.
To be sure they always get a manual prompt it is best to zip the file and
upload the zip file for downloading.
