Adding Furigana to Japanese documents

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

I have read the previous messages about this topic and done all the things mentions. however, I do not have the Phonetics button to click. it just does not appear.... why...??? the IT guys at my work dont know how to use macs yet and my other mac i brought in Japan so dont have this problem.

Taking a wild guess, you need the Japanese version installed.
