adding labels to connectors

Is there a way to attach labels to connector autoshapes so that they
move when the connectors are moved?

Hi David,

All of the AutoShapes that have solid fills are also text boxes.
Right-click or control-click and choose Edit Text from the pop-up menu
and then start typing. The connector lines will stay attached.

If you want to, you can select multiple objects and group them so that
they behave as a single object.
