Adding latest updates to Custom Install configuration

I have run the Custom Installation Wizard to produce a
TRANSFORMS install for a deployment in mid February,
configured my own autorun and burned it to CD for remote
deployment.

How can I install all the latest patches and updates to
the original source to produce a deployment package that
includes all the latest fixes?

After digging through the ORK site I found the
instructions "To apply an update to an Office
administrative installation point"

I downloaded the three updates, unzipped to get the .msp,
opened a cmd window and typed in:

c:\msiexec /p d:\mso.msp /a g:\pro11.msi /lv* c:\log.txt

The installer starts, waits about 30 seconds then replies
with a popup "You have not entered a valid product key"

I'm not trying to install Office, I'm trying to update the
original source to the latest w/ patches.
