Adding New Contacts

In spite of the instructions from Groove about adding new contacts, it
doesn't appear that I can. I cannot get the options that the instructions
are suggesting - e.g.- "file-new-non-groove contact" does not exist. I seem
to be limited to only adding Groove contacts.

Please help...

Hi Gale -

Looks like this is a feature they've removed from Groove 2007.

hope tehy would add this feature soon.

Hi Gale -

I guess this feature was removed because Microsoft don't want to
maintain a mail server for people using Groove, and would rather we used
windows Live Messenger for non-Groove messages. Personally I don't miss
it - one can use Groove Forms to track your non-Groove contacts much
more efficiently.

Do you have a copy of a Groove Forms template that I can use to track my
contacts? Groove 3.1 let you send your Outlook Contacts to Groove. Now you
can't do that either. Can you send your Outlook Contacts to a Groove Form?

Hi Bryan -

We've got some forms templates in development for release with Groove
2007 (in parallel to MSFTs own efforts).

Outlook integration in either direction is top of most peoples wish list
at the moment, and as I've said before if Groove doesn't include it in
2007, someone else is bound to do it.
