Adding new fields to Portfolio Analyzer (and analysis services?).

I want to add the Baseline1 Work field (and others) to my views in Portfolio
Analyzer, I cusomized the MS Project and published the new field, but can't
see them when creating a new view (or in View A Project). When I select
Portfolio Analyzer and get the Field Pick List the aren't available. How do
I get the new field on the web and into my reports? Do I need to add the
field to to analysis services too?

Any Help folks? LMK

Hallelujah! The best Tip I have ever seen.

I have been struggling with the limitations that the OLAP cube brings
for some time and have asked many of the big consultant firms to quote
extending the cube to do only a fraction of what this product appears
to do. All the quotes I got were for over $5000 and that was just for
adding only a few fields.

I can't wait to try this out.

Thanks for the posting you made my year.

I found some instructions in the SDK stuff about the OLAP Extensions,

Microsoft Office Project 2003 SDK, Solution Starters, OLAPExtensions

Looks like it will work, but its kinda hard finding the fields you want and
learning how to use the Analysis Services software to build a new
"Dimension?".

But thanks for the great tip Mark. Seems like everyone would like to be
able to do this kind of thing.
