Adding or Changing Dates in PowerPoint 2007

I have just recently begun using PPT 2007 in the office. I am slowing
figuring out how this works. I am having a problem with dates in headers and
footers. How can I change the date in the header or footer to a current
date. I'm getting frustrated trying to figure it out.
