Adding pdf file to records in a form

A few years ago I setup a database for running cards (directions) for our
fire district. We now want to add maps to the cards. We have the maps in a
pdf format. Some maps will apply to more than one record. What is the best
way for me to add the maps to the form. When they open the form and get the
record they want, I want the map to be shown on the form.
Thanks.

Link to the map PDF file...now you could use the address to link through
google or some other system but I have found that the distance/location can
sometimes be way off. I'm a scanner hobbiest and follow dispatches. Only
way to do it an be accurate is to pay for the service or link a pdf of a
confirmed address (verify in person, walk, touch see and check) to the
record. Save the pdf file and link it to the record. Search for linking
pictures to Access and instead of pictures (jpg) use PDF files. Works the
same and will allow you to make sure the locations are right. I would not
have the map on the form, better to pop it up in it's own window. Forms can
distort pictures and pdf files.

I started to do this, but I didn't know if there was a better way. Each
street in our district is in the database 3 times, once for each firehouse
(directions to each street from each firehouse). I would have to put the
same map in 3 times to have it show on each street. I didn't know if there
was a way to maybe create a table with the maps in it and then link them to
the street, so it would only need to have the map in once, but show on each
record (street) that matches. Thought it would cut down on the file size,
but not sure how to do this.

I was hoping to have it show on the form when they open the form -- save the
medics/firefighters one step. It's hard enough for them to maneuver on the
computer while they are riding/bouncing down the road.
