I'd like to print a sheet of return address labels out of Word 2003. I want
to put a small graphic on all of the labels, but I haven't been able to
figure out how yet. The help file says to open Envelopes and Labels, click
where you want the image to go, then click Insert and Picture. But when I'm
in Envelopes and Labels, I can't click on Insert. I get the error dinger.

Any help?

Thanks.

While there may be many more ways to do this, I create a text box using the
Text box on the Drawing Toolbar. I leave the border there until I get the
picture the size I want it. I also set the properties of the text box to
not move with text and also set it so that text shows through. I click on
the border of the text box and then Copy to the clipboard. Once done click
outside the text box. Then paste enough copies to fill each frame then move
them into each label frame on the screen. I then click inside one box to
have a text cursor appear. I then click on Insert, Picture, From File and
find my file. Once I have inserted the image in one text box I then copy
and paste the image only to each other text box. (The reason I do it this
way is that sometimes the copy and paste of a completed textbox with it's
image doesn't copy or paste properly.) Once I have the image sized the way
I want it I then remove the border from each textbox.

Can be time consuming but it works.
