Firstly many thanks to KeepITCool & Max - pivot table works a treat, but
here is the next question!
The user copies and pastes information from one sheet ('batch nos'!-letters
essential, as used on pallet manifest) to ('pbase'!-letters not essential,
as needed only for use by code). What I would like to do now is remove any
letters a,b,c or d from the batch code automatically as the user is SLOW and
I know a formula will be quicker e.g.
Pallet Product Batch No Qty
1 xx-xxgl-a1 123365a 121
2 xx-xxgl-a1 123250b 121
The letter(s) relates to the line the product was run down and can appear
anywhere within the code!? e.g.
Pallet Product Batch No Qty
1 xx-xxgl-a1 123a365 121
2 xx-xxgl-a1 1232b50 121
I have checked excel help but can't seem to find a function to do this. I
am using '97.
Many thanks in advance.
