Adding security settings

I added a new user through PWA with windows authentication and have given the
user admin privileges in all the categories, but the user complaints that he
is not able to view the project and gets an error as below.

"This view or saved link has either been deleted or you no longer have
permissions to view it.

Choose another view or contact your Project Server administrator to get
permissions"

Giving a user Admin permissions is risky. The reason why the user cannot see
the view is that the views themselves do not include the appropriate
categories. For someone with Admin to see the views, the views must be
assigned to My Organization.

Thanks for the Insight Rick.

But when i try to add that view i get a message saying "An error occured
while performing the current operation".

But when i come back to the manage security window i see that view is added
under the Project Views, but the user still faces the same problem.

This is a pain in the butt error. We are trying to resolve the issue too. You
can use a workaround and edit each user of the category and assign them to
the category individually.
