Adding shapes in visio from COM add-in

Hey

I am creating some organizations charts, i have the information in a
database, and the shape properties in a xml file, I have done this
without using the wizard. When i drop the shapes onto the page, and
updates them, and when my "code" is finished running, visio then first
opdates the text, and when it is done, it changes all the properties i
changed in the code back.
I don't have this problem if i just opdates a shape, which a user have
createt onto the pages.
(I use the same code to update the shape)
Plz help, If anyone need more info just ask.

are you dropping 'generic' shapes, or are you dropping shapes from the org
chart stencil (which may call the org chart addon, thus the unwanted
operations)

I have made my own copys of the shapes in another stencil file. You
might be right, i just dont know anything about how the org chats
operates.

open the shapesheet for the shapes and examine the action section to see if
they execute a runaddon. also check the user section to see if a solution is
identified. these will often override what you may intend to happen.

I have tried do delete the action row and all the user rows, this
dosn't help. If somebody have some insigt into how the org charts
registeres the shapes, and what actions it preforms on them plz write
to me

Today i have reset my settings i visio, and suddenly they execute the
add-on, this information wasn't there yesterday.
So i am writing to say thanks for the information..
