Adding shapes to xy scatter charts

Does anyone know how/if one can relate page coordinates (adding a line
for instance) with a scatter XY log/log chart coordinates? I generate
XY log/log charts automatically (VBA) but sometimes need to add a line
with arrow pointing to a point on the chart to indicate (with a text
box) that the point actually represents more than one sample. Any help
is appreciated, thanks in advance.

View->toolbars-> and pull up the drawing toolbar. The drawing toolbar
has tools for adding arrows and text boxes.

Forgot to say I want to do this programmatically. I know you can add
line programmatically using page coordinates, but how do you relat
these to chart coordinates?
