Dear all,

I work with frontpage 2000. When I use the option insert symbols and when I
choose for example ä or è or whatever symbol and I check on the internet the
symbols are shown as a little square....please check www.cheesefarms.com and
you can see what I mean. Can you help me ?

Thank you,

You have saved the pages using Windows-1252 character set, but your
server is sending a response header:

content-Type: text/html; charset=UTF-8

which causes the browser to try to display the page as UTF-8. This
causes the symbols (accented characters) to display incorrectly.

The easiest solution is to change your pages to UTF-8, or ask your host
to remove the character set response header from the server
configuration.

You could also try inserting the symbols as character references or
numeric references - see
http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/fp/Default.asp?fl=1101651334 for
examples.
