Adding Tabs

I am no longer able to ad tabs to my XLS. The XLS is appx 54megs and has 200+ tabs.

A while back I had to start copying tabs to a new work book, change the tab name, and then copy back into the XLS.

Now when I attempt to copy tabs into my 200+ tab XLS, Excel goes through the motions like it is going to copy the tabs into the XLS but never does. The hour glass mouse cursor disapears and the status bar says "ready", but no new tabs appear in my spread sheet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While XL has no specific limit on number of sheets, it has a finite 'pool'
of memory to work from no matter the ram on the machine. The limit stated
in help is 'by available memory'

It's possible you've run out
