Hi all,
I've been asked to "take a look" at bringing a Task dimension into
Analyzer within PWA
The idea is that the Project Managers will be able to select their
projects and drill down into tasks followed by resources and see the
time, each resource has worked on the project.
I found an existing view which had Project, Resources and Actual
Timesheet Hours per Time value(Years, Quarters, Days)
I began by creating a Task dimension and then linked in MSP_Tasks
into
the Standard Cubes.
This seemed to work at first, until I realised that the Actual
Timesheet Hours is stored per project per resource, not per project,
per task, per resource
This meant that the data displayed showed that user A worked the
same
amount of hours on all tasks.
I can't even figure out which table the task timesheet hours are held
in to be able to create a bespoke table with the data in it.
Can anyone help me resolve this?
Looking forward to getting past this and onto the VB6 side of
things.... once I find the disc
