Adding text in organizational chart

When I add text to a shape in an organisation chart in Visio 2003 and
click away from the shape the text appears in the top of the shape,
when I double click the shape there is another line under the text
which I never created, forcing the text to push up to the top of the
shape. Any ideas how I can solve this?

Cheers...

In the Org Chart solution the text in shapes corresponds to custom
properties in the shapes. Typing text into the shape changes the valuem of
the backing custom property..

By default, the text in an Org chart shape is taken from the "Name" and
"Title" custom properties (which is why you see "Name" and "Title" when you
drop a new shape). When you type a single line of text into the shape, it
replaces the value of the "Name" property with the text and sets the "Title"
property to a blank, thus the two lines.

You can change this behavior via the Organization Chart->Options menu
choice. Select the "Fields" tab in the dialog and un-check the title box.
This will give you only one line of text corresponding to the "Name"
property. If you wish, you can un-check all the boxes and then the text you
type into the shape will not update any custom properties.

Hope this helps.
