Adding text to cell

Grugs

Jim,

Thanks for the suggestion. I cannot find what you describe, however. I
have looked on the 'Insert' section of the Cells section (on the Home pane).
I have also looked on the 'Insert' tab (next to the home tab). Can you help
further?

My menu cross reference list for xl2003 > xl2007 says...
Review | Comments | New Comment.
I hope that makes sense to you - I don't have XL2007.

One should specify the XL version in use when asking a question.

Further...
The keyboard commands for XL2003 are supposed to work in XL2007.
press... Alt + i then m
(that is hold down the Alt key and press i
then let up and press the m key)

You can also right-click on the cell and pick Insert Comment from the list
that pops up (this also works in XL2003 as well).
