Adding time in Excel

I am creating a self calculating timesheet that converts
Hours and minutes to hours and tenths of an hour and then
totals them. can this be done and if so could someone help
me or e-mail and example?

Hi Robert!

You can convert the times individually to hours by simply multiplying
them by 24.

You can calculate the total in decimal hours for using:
=SUM(A11)*24

You can total hours by normal sum but note that the answer should be
formatted [hh]:mm to prevent more than 24 rolling over a day.

Just remember that times are recorded as a decimal part of a day.
