Adding timescale variables together?

Hello,

I am working on exporting time phased data to excel based on the WBS
and resource efforts. I don't want to export the entire project task
by task but work package by work package. This is ok for me.

Now, resources are assigned to individual tasks. I can extract the
time phased data for each resource assigned to each task. What I need
to do however is add the time phased data for each resource type for a
single work package and then export the summary for that resource.
Similar to doing a "group by" resource assignment on the hierarchical
outline.

Can anyone assist with adding time phased data together?
