Adding titles to org chart shapes after creating chart from .xls f

I created a chart from an .xls file. At that time, I chose to "import" only
the name column. I am now wanting to add titles to the shapes that have
names but when I double click the text in the shape, hit enter for another
line, add the title text - it does not change in the synchronized copies. I
have to go to each copy to add the title.

I tried putting the title in customized properties but it didn't work.

I am using Visio 2003. I am a new user and disappointed it isn't doing what
I thought it would with regards to synchronized copies.

Try the following:

1. Add a new custom property to the shapes for title
2. Click on the Organization Chart->Options Menu item.
3. Select the Fields tab. The new custom property should appeay in the Block
1 list Box. Check the new property and it will be displayed in the shape
text.
