adding values in tables

hi! does anyone know how to add values in a single column on a table in word?
how do i display the total in a bottom row?

What version of Word? The method may differ slightly, but basically on the
Tables menu in versions before 2007, or in the Data section of the Table
Tools>Layout tab in Word 2007, there is a Formula item that you can use to
do this.
