Adding Word Document To Business Contact History

Any one else having trouble adding a Word Document (eg a
letter) to the history log of a Business Contact in
Outlook 2003 Business Contact Manager?

I have followed the help instructions on how to do so but
when I double click on the file I wish to add nothing
happens?

Help!!!
