Addon domain

I use Frontpage 2003.
My hosting gives me unlimited ADDON DOMAINS. I have one domain already (agridoce.com) and now I added one "addon domain" that is called "squibbymasters" on my host.
I already built "agridoce.com" with FP and it's working fine. Now I wanna publish my new site "squibbymasters", but nothing is happening, I can't see this site when I type on my browser. I am kind of lost. Any ideas to help me?
Thanks
Zila

I take it you mean subdomains.

These work in the same way as subwebs but are addressed slightly differently: http://subdomain.mydomain.com and http://www.mydomain.com/subweb/

So try publishing to squibbymasters.agridoce.com and if that doesn't work try the other way.

Well, the owner of the host said to me that would work as a domain, like "squibbymasters.com". But anyway, I just need that working! I asked her how to publish this new website to her host and she doesn't know fp2003 very well. I have a book and it's not helping me either.
Can you tell me step by step how to publish this? I apreciate!

As Jens said
http://subdomain.mydomain.com and http://www.mydomain.com/subweb/

is how it will look.

it won't look like http://mydomain.com that's it.

You could use a redirect or I think maybe it's called a 301 to point from
either http://subdomain.mydomain.com and http://www.mydomain.com/subweb
depending on how your host's server is setup ... to your squibbly domain ...
but I'm not sure how that will affect your SEO rating, a redirect would
affect it ... I don't know enough about redirecting methods you would have
to find out .. though of course if your not bothered about people finding
the site via search engines it's nothing to worry about .. but the se's do
have rules and I think this is one of them.

To find out more about this I'd ask at
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/SEO_Techniques/

I put
how do you publish with frontpage to a subdomain? into google and this site
has a interactive tutorial which you might find helpful.

Are you talking about the rollover effects or the way it opens in the frameset?
all you do is in your <a href> is set the 'target' of the frame page. In the
"insert hyperlink" dialogue click "target" and choose the frame page.

if you mean the rollover buttons, then Frontpage 2002 (and up) have a built in
wizard/function for this.

Hello Tina, I understand what's a subdomain. I just need to learn where to click and what to type to make my subdomain be published.
The host has a Control panel and I already saved a subdomain that's "scubbymasters". Then on Frontpage, I opened a new website where I built new pages for this subdomain. Now I just need to publish. That's a pain in my neck. I open the "website" called "squibbymasters". I go to "publish website" on the botton right corner and comes up a small window called "Remote Websites Properties" where I don't know if I have to change something on "Remote webiste location that is :ftp://69.93.78.115/public_html and "ftp directory" hat's empty field box.

I don't know if I am explaining right, beucause my English is not so good. I speak portuguese.
Thank you very much.

If the site had the FP extensions, then you would publish to a sub web / site and the subdomain
would be pointed to the sub web site, but since you are using FTP, you need to ask your host what is
the correct path to use to upload files for a subdomain under your account.

So what is the question or problem?

You have 2 webs

FP cannot publish to subdomains
It can publish to a Root Web at http://www.accaw.org/
And it can publish to a FP created SubWeb http://www.accaw.org/melville/ which could be a subdomain on your server at
http://melville.accaw.org
