Address Actions -> Show on Map Lookups Fail

If I remember correctly, in Entourage X, the street map site was Expedia. It
often could not find a particular street address for me, so I had to use
MapQuest or Yahoo Maps.

Now, in Entourage 2004, the street map site has changed to MSN. I just chose
the "Show on Map" function, and again, it can't find some street addresses.
Both MapQuest and Yahoo Maps found it, but MSN couldn't.

Example: 83-15 Queens Blvd, Elmhurst, NY.

I tried with vs. without the hyphen, abbreviating vs. spelling out
'boulevard,' and no matter what, MSN couldn't find it while the other two
did.

Is there any way to change the street map lookup site? (The failure rate is
*not* 100%, though, and I do like MSN's largest map size which the other
lookup sites lack.)

When I tried it, Mappoint offered an alternate address which worked. Is this
not sufficient?

Actually, in this example, it got pretty close. I never even checked it
closely when it reported it could only find 83 Queens Blvd instead of 83-15.
I then tried it with some other addresses in the Queens area. Similar
problem -- only finding the street name with no street number. In these
other cases, it was off by several blocks.

Clearly, the database(s) MapPoint searched are different from those searched
by MapQuest and Yahoo Maps, both of which found all the Queens, NY addresses
I threw at it. It seems that if you know the general area, MapPoint will
suffice. But if you're an out-of-towner, you're hosed. Maybe they're just
anti-New York?

That said, though, MapQuest's driving directions steered me incorrectly in
the Washington, DC area last week. It told me to turn the wrong way at the
very end of a trip, and it was a major hassle since all the streets in that
area were one-way. I guess none of map sites are perfect.

Lesson learned: if you're from out of town, check a few of the map sites and
compare.
