I don't know where to post this question. Sorry for the crossposts!!
I'm having trouble with the Address Book Component of OfficeXP on our
Terminal Servers. Were trying to Add Users to a SharePoint Portal Server
area and to do this, you can click on an "Address Book" button to grab
people from the address list in Outlook from the SharePoint web page. Well,
when we click on this, nothing happens. We get the same results trying to
import users into a SharePoint Contacts list using the Import Contacts
button. Both tasks use the Address Book Component.
It's installed. And this works on other machines (that are not our Terminal
Servers).
We do lock down these Terminal Servers w/ group policies pretty much, and we
also hide lots of folders. I'm ASSUMING this is causing the problem. So,
my question is, does anyone know what files are involved in using the
Address Book Component? Maybe they need to be "un-hidden"? (I've seen this
kind of thing before). If that's not the case, could a Group Policy cause
our issues as well?
Please help.
Thanks!
