Address book from OE6 to Outlook

I am now using MS Outlook and I imported the .wab file from OE6. The address
book handles my Groups differently. In OE6 I had individual Contacts and
Groups. The people I had in Groups were not in as individual Contacts. If I
wanted to email a person who was in a Group all I did was open the Address
Book, click the Group, right click on the individual and select Action>Send
Mail. A new Message would appear with the selected email address in the 'To:'
section.
However, with Outlook that does not work. You can only select the whole
Group and not an individual. I have 2 questions, first - is there a way to
select the individual from a Group to send an email in Outlook? Second, is
there an easy way to put all the individuals from a Group in as individual
Contacts?
Thank you.

Groups in OE's WAB have no counterpart in Outlook. Outlook uses Distribution
Lists in the Contacts Folder as one way to group recipients. Outlook stores
no data whatsoever in its address book view. Importing from OE almost never
creates a functional DL in Outlook.
You cannot send to an individual member of a DL. Nor is it advisable to
store a Contact only as a member of a DL. The only way to create individual
Contacts from an existing DL is to save the DL in a format from which
Outlook can import.
In Outlook versions 2003 and above, you can open a DL in the To field to
delete recipients on a per message basis.
