Address book has different contacts then the personal contacts

When I migrated clients to a new network and established
the client mailboxes in Outlook, two clients did not have
the right mailboxes dispite requesting them correctly in
outlook set up. I have managed to find the mailboxes and
get them assigned for the right people. But the Address
book doesn't use the personal contacts but uses the
preveous information. How do I get the address book to
use the contact information? Have deleted the contact
selection in the address book tool menu under options and
the address book display still shows the old contacts.
