Address Book Help

All the addresses were listed down left side and all was happy. "Village
Idiot some how got them all GONE, still in the Address Book-Main Identity..
BUT how do I get them back to show on the bottom left of the screen. I knwo
this is dumb, but i did it and am not a happy camper..
