address book jammed

I imported contact files form pc windows based Outlook and it created 600,000+ address file entries in entourage. How do I delete these entries without having to bring up all these address files?

Select one contact in your list; then go to edit and select all, then find
your "Me" contact and deselect the "Me" contact by holding down command and
click on the "Me" contact. The "Me" contact has a different symbol in front
of it and it has your info an it can not be deleted. After you deselect "Me"
then you can click delete or press delete on your keyboard.
