Address book question

B

Brian Morgan

I have lots of entries in Outlook (XP) Contacts. But when I open up the
Address Book (in Internet Explorer, for example), there are none. In the
"Show Names from the..." box I see "Outlook Address Book" and "Contacts"
under that, but there are no entries in either. How do I transfer all my
outlook contact information to the address book?

Thank you

Ensure that the contacts folder is enabled as an Address Book. Right click
on contacts folder, select properties, then the Address Book tab. It should
be marked for use as an OAB.

If this has already been checked, then you may need to add the Outlook
Address Book service to your profile.

Control Panel->Mail Icon->Email Accounts->Directories->View or change. If
you do not have the Outlook Address Book service installed, back up one step
and select "Add" to add the service. If Outlook was open while doing this,
you will need to close Outlook and reopen it for the change to take effect.
