When syncing my Apple Address Book to Entourage, every time it syncs, Entourage dumps ALL contacts and then re-imports all the Address Book contacts all over again? Seems like a way to lose all contacts at some point? And how do I delete ALL the categories in contacts? I have about 150 blank categories! good

When syncing my Apple Address Book to Entourage, every time it syncs,
Entourage dumps ALL contacts and then re-imports all the Address Book
contacts all over again? Seems like a way to lose all contacts at some
point?

Check your sync settings at Entourage (menu) > Preferences > General
Preferences > Synd Services. Making a change to that screen (even if you
change it back) will pop up a window asking which way you want to sync. You
can do Entourage to Address Book, vice versa, and a true sync of the two.
And how do I delete ALL the categories in contacts? I have about
150 blank categories! good

You can edit your Categories in the Edit menu. If you delete a Category, it
will remove it from any contacts. Alternately, while viewing your Address
Book, you can select all and make a change to the categories for all of
them.
