I recently bought a new PC on which I installed Office 2003. I transfered the
"Outlook.pst" file (which contains all my email from Outlook 2003 on my old
computer) to my new computer. Everything imported fine, or so I thought.
My Contacts show up in the Contact section, but when I compose an email and
press "Check Names" it says that there are "No Suggestions" for the contact
that I know I have in my Contacts listing. Weird. Then, when I click on my
Address Book (from within the compose email window) and error pops up with
the message "The addess list could not be displayed. The Contacts folder
associated with this address list could not be opened; it may have been moved
or deleted, or you do not have the permissions."
Obviously something has happened and Outlook 2003 can't locate the directory
where it's placed the Contacts list somehow...? How do I fix it so that I can
have Outlook recognize that I do have listing of Contacts???
