Hi
Have just upgraded my motherboard & have clean installed both WinXP Pro &
OfficeXP to the last partition on my 2nd harddisc.
I setup Outlook, closed it then overwrote my pst file from the previous
install. It complained about the Outlook bar but just defaulted it. I got
error messages from my Rules, tried to recreate them but got a message that
the Addressbook is unavailable or that I don't have the correct permissions
to access it. Is there a way of restoring its access without doing a Repair
install on OfficeXP (whose toolbars have been customised).
During the install of WinXP, I mis-spelt my name, so created another profile
with the correct one, copied over some files such as my Docs then deleted
the older profile within the User Accounts applet.
The addressbook is there 'cos after the warnings, it opens. My Contacts
folder is populated as expected. I can't remember if the Addressbook was an
option during Office install but it doesn't appear to be one with the Add
components dialogue of Office.
Any help here will be gratefully received!
