[QUOTE="John McGhie [MVP - Word and Word Macintosh], post: 6852332"] Hi Charles: I can't remember where the addresses are stored in Word 5, but have you copied your Normal template across? Generally, it's not good practice to try to "Duplicate" an application. Older apps and older computers you could get away with it. But certainly in OS X, any application is going to scatter preferences and other storage resources and files in places other than its application folder, according to the system conventions. OS X likes all of its preferences, fonts etc to be in defined folders that are part of the system structure, or the User structure, not the Application structure. Cheers -- Please reply to the newsgroup to maintain the thread. Please do not email me unless I ask you to. John McGhie <john@mcghie.name> Microsoft MVP, Word and Word for Macintosh.
